Due to the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, any live event must still keep fulfilling strict  health safety rules. This also applies to the INFIERI School. The following list of rules will apply to the School period.

1.- THE SAFETY RULES FOR TRAVELLING TO SPAIN ARE WELL DEFINED as of JULY 5 2021 BY THE SPANISH HEALTH AUTHORITIES AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL ON: https://www.spth.gob.es/

For more information on the entry requirements for Spain, from third countries, please visit this link.

PLEASE READ OR LISTEN TO THESE RULES CAREFULLY either you are from the EUROPEAN UNION as well as from SWITZERLAND, NORWAY, ICELAND and LICHTENSTEIN or FROM A THIRD COUNTRY i.e. any other country.

In particular, any participant from the European Union and from Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, has to show either a) a vaccine certificate with the vaccines supported by the European Medicine Agency, or b) a negative PCR test done within 48 hours before arrival, or c) a certificate of immunity through a serological test done within less than six months before arrival. This is what is requested in the EU Digital Covid Certificate.

Every participant is expected to have a medical insurance.

2.- The UAM campus is on the outskirts of Madrid and is spread over a wide area.
In every UAM building there is hydro-alcoholic solution at the entrance. There are rules to come in and leave the building.

3.- The lecture hall, for the morning plenary lectures, has a total capacity of 420 seats, which allows to accommodate 120 participants with proper safety distance. The use of mask is mandatory. Sharing objects is not allowed. The entry to and the exit from the lecture hall must be done in an orderly way:  first (last) coming in occupy front (back) seats, whereas participants on back (front) seats leave the lecture hall first (last). The lecture hall will be cleaned daily. Nevertheless, it is recommended to occupy the same seat everyday.

4.- Wearing masks is mandatory everywhere and safety distance must be kept. We appeal to the responsibility of participants to take standard health safety rules everywhere during their stay, as the use of mask and to keep proper distance to other people.

5.- Coffee breaks will be served outside in the terrace of the Biology Building.

6.- Lunches will be served in the restaurant of Plaza Mayor respecting their safety rules.

7.- In a laboratory wearing a mask is mandatory. The professor in charge will give instructions. The laboratory rooms are sufficiently big to accommodate a few students (2 or 3 for hardware based labs; 4 to 5 for software based labs) keeping safety distance between them. There will be a proper renovation of the room air.

8.- There is a medical centre on the University Campus as well as a pharmacy. Whoever feels like covid symptoms, should immediately inform the school organisers, who will take action.

9.- The phone number of the local organiser will be provided for emergency issues only. For any other issues the general email address and maybe a phone number as well will be given.

10.- Regular self antigens testing will be organised as it is already the case in many other working places and events.

11.- Hotels in Madrid have well defined safety rules as well. The school attendants will stay at the RESA residence, where there are well defined safety rules to be strictly observed.

The School recommends for the training staff only a few hotels, apart from the RESA residence itself, in order to avoid central downtown areas in Madrid. This is to ensure safety conditions as much as possible during transportation.

Only single rooms (and thus no double rooms) are available at RESA to follow safety rules.

The transportation from the residence to UAM and return will be assured by dedicated bus.
