Software lab

There are many classrooms on the UAM campus suited for software practises or software labs. Some of them have computers, as the one shown in the picture below, where you can select either Linux or Windows operating systems. Personal laptops can also be used. Often students connect to a central server from their computers (or the room PCs) to run the software and perform the exercises. The picture below is an example of a classroom with computers located in the School of Science (Facultad de Ciencias). The map corresponds to the location of the School of Science on the UAM campus.

Electronics lab

There are multiple laboratories in the School of Science (Facultad de Ciencias) for teaching. Some of them are dedicated to electronics. The two pictures below correspond to the Electronics laboratory located in the Department of Applied Physics. The map corresponds to the location of the School of Science.

CMAM UAM

The Centre for Micro Analysis of Materials (CMAM) is a research center belonging to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) whose main experimental tool is an electrostatic ion accelerator with a maximum terminal voltage of 5 MV, devoted to the analysis and modification of materials. Several INFIERI school lab practises will be performed in this building. Below you find pictures of the experimental lines of the ion beam and the Cockcroft-Walton accelerator. The map corresponds to the location on the UAM campus.
